In the first quarter of 2022, Chenzhou’s GDP grew by 7.2% year on year, with the growth rate ranking first in Hunan Province. Sany, Longyuan Power and other top 500 enterprises both at home and abroad came to invest in Chenzhou. 208 key projects will be planned throughout the year, with a total investment reaching 249.9 billion yuan.

In order to deepen the reform of "one-stop service" and ensure that the relevant affairs can be finished in the park under the internal management, Hunan Provincial People’s Government and Chenzhou Municipal People’s Government have delegated the economic management authority to China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone Chenzhou Area.
Chenzhou was listed among the top ten cities (prefecture-level city) in China with favorable business environment in 2018 for its effective "one-stop service" reform.
In addition, it ranked 81st among 296 cities nationwide according to a report on business environment jointly released by the Greater Bay Area Research Institute and the 21st Century Economic Research Institute at the end of 2020.
In February this year, Chenzhou launched 20 rules to optimize the business environment, aiming to strengthen the capability of solving problems and achieving goals results and to create an efficient and favorable business environment.
Now the whole process of starting up an enterprise can be finished online in just half a day, which is the result of the pilot reform of “one-stop service”, marking the official operation of the enterprise life cycle reform in Hunan.
At present, people can apply for the approval of matters involved in the enterprise life cycle in Chenzhou Municipal Government Service Center. The center has opened special windows for starting up an enterprise as well as approval of engineering and construction projects, in order to provide standardized and non-discriminatory government services for enterprises.

Chenzhou has become a good choice of investment for many industrial giants.
There are numerous parks such as Chenzhou High-tech Zone, Chenzhou Economic Development Zone and Xiangnan International Logistics Park as well as a lot of successful enterprises like Delta Electronics, Grepow New Energy and Sichuan Changhong.
In 2022, Chenzhou will not only implement comprehensive investment attraction all year round, but also carry out activities to attract big businesses and local businesses in Hunan.
On March 17, Sany Group Co., Ltd. and Sany Heavy Energy Co., Ltd. signed a 20-billion-yuan strategic investment cooperation agreement with Chenzhou to build an intelligent manufacturing industrial park and a lighthouse factory for wind power equipment manufacturing in the city.
Project construction
Building industrial parks is crucial for project construction and economic growth. Chenzhou should focus on the development of projects, industries and entities in accordance with the standards of quality parks.
Yizhang County strengthened its efforts to develop the fluorine chemical, photoelectricity, packaging and printing industries, and launched activities to improve service, efficiency and environment.
It thoroughly examined the unfinished projects, zombie enterprises and land lying idle, actively responded to the Greater Bay Area and built parks with strength, hospitality, high productivity and characteristics.
Zixing City made solid efforts to accelerate the growth of industries so that the 10 economic evaluating indexes of quality parks went up dramatically.
